Jack Married Ann in 1935 and farmed with his father Feodore till he died in 1947. They stayed on the farm till 1949 when they moved to Hafford with their son Victor and Jack's mother Theodosia. Theodosia died in 1954. Jack disposed of the homestead prior to moving to Hafford. he took up cattle buying and was a successful bonded cattle buyer till 1954. In 1954 they took over farming operation of the estate of Anthony Zuck. Over the years Jack and Ann were able to acquire ownership and farmed till they retired.
Ann died suddenly at the age of 80. Jack and Ann lived on the farm till 1948 when they moved to Hafford. Ann was employed as chief cook at the Hafford Union Hospital while Jack farmed. Ann retired in 1981. After the death of Jack she found it increasingly challenging to keep up the house, yard and garden so she bid farewell to her many friends and relatives in Hafford and moved to St. Volodymyr's Villa in Saskatoon.
