I am Andrea Hlewka - daughter of (Andrew) Clifford Hlewka and Judy Hlewka (nee:Zuck) who is daughter of Edward Zuck who is son of Dan Zuck who is son of John and Anna Zuck - immigrated 1908 to Canada.
I left Carleton High school, Prince Albert, SK in 1981 - I went to university and obtained a Bachelor of Arts. I ventured back to university and became a teacher.
I have one son - Tyler
May our sense of adventure and spirit never die - may we always be kind to the one not fortunate enough to have the same as us. There is something to be said for our North - it really is the last unconquered frontier - wild - wild west - I think my grandfather Edward would have been very proud of my accomplishments as a descendant from John and Anna Zuck, their efforts and dedication to provide for their family and their future generations a foundation in a country as great as Canada is the best thing anyone can hope for. Just imagine - if John and Anna never came over - we would not be here and we would be looking old before our time due to working in the fields and milking cows, shoveling shit, making thatched roofs - old country thanks to John and Anna coming over on the boat - because we live right and fancy free right here in Canada - Merle Haggard would have made a good Canadian.
